In the UAE, an individual who gives private lessons to students without a Private Teacher Work Permit faces fines and penalties. MoHRE issues it
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) issues the permit and launched it together with the Ministry of Education. Tutors apply through MoHRE’s app, website or digital channels.

Who teaches the at-home lessons?

Where are at-home lessons available?
Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the first emirates where at-home lessons open. Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah follow as tutors who hold the permit join there. Online lessons are open in all seven emirates today.
