What is an Educrest tutor?
An Educrest tutor teaches live lessons to learners in the UAE: a young child, a school or university student, or an adult working toward a goal. The subject can be anything in the programme families on this page, from Cambridge IGCSE Physics or the IB Diploma to IELTS, the violin, Python or public speaking. Tutors who live in the UAE hold the Private Teacher Work Permit and can teach at the learner's home and online. Tutors based outside the UAE teach online only, from wherever they live.
- Each lesson is live, lasts 60, 90 or 120 minutes, and is for one learner or a small group of up to six.
- At-home lessons are taught by permit holders and open in Dubai and Abu Dhabi first.

Where you live decides which path is open to you. The Private Teacher Work Permit covers lessons at home and online, so a tutor who lives in the UAE holds it for both.

Tutors who live in the UAE hold the Private Teacher Work Permit, whether they teach at the learner's home or online. MoHRE issues it, and it is valid for two years.
